Pupils shine at Beacon interhouse

Beacon College recently held its first interhouse athletics day at the Malelane Rugby Club sports ground.

The learners were extremely excited about the event and some of them wanted to take part more than once in the sporting codes. According to the school’s sports coach, David Janse van Rensburg, it was a great start to their calendar.

He said, “We’ve had a great day today. The learners held nothing back and gave it their all. We have been able to identify the strong ones in every specific area.”

Janse van Rensburg added that they were well prepared for the upcoming interschools.
