NELSPRUIT – Have you ever dreamt of going to the world’s largest annual beer fest in Munich to party up a storm at the Oktoberfest with an oompah band, delicious cuisine from street kitchens and pints of beer?
This Saturday October 12 at Sonpark Boulevard, the annual Night of 1000 Stars, in aid of CANSA, gives you the chance to experience Germany in Nelspruit.
Dana Agency sponsors an exciting lucky-draw prize for the evening. One lucky guest will win two return tickets to next year’s Oktoberfest in Munich.
This fund-raiser has been most successful for the past six years and is one of the prime events on the social calendar. A scrumptious meal prepared by local top chefs of Kokopelli, Adventure Food Catering, Eidelweiss at Nou’s Toeka, Kadai Restaurant, Bundu Country Lodge, Stoep, The Greek Kouzina, Upper Deck, Orange and M&E Catering, among others, will set out a gourmet feast from street kitchens that will make you feel you are in the heart of Germany.
The boulevard comes alive with decadent food, entertainment, lights and music!
Oom-pah International will entertain guests with its traditional German sounds guaranteed to get feet tapping in no time.
Oktoberfest 2014 will be no exception.
With approximately six million people attending every year, it is an important part of Bavarian culture. Think Disneyland for adults! Tickets for the draw are R50 and each festivalgoer automatically receives an entry.
More tickets are available to improve your chances for this show-stopper holiday.
The fun will start at 19:00 and tickets are R300 per person, which includes an amazing three-course meal and an evening filled with entertainment, dancing, laughter and cheer of which R175 of the ticket price will go directly to CANSA.
All proceeds from the lucky draw also go to the association and extra tickets can be bought from Meaghan Else of Sonpark management.
This social event is surely not to be missed and it is a great way to support a very worthy cause. Enquiries: Meaghan on
