Annual Cash & Carry Stokvel

Over 200 stokvel members flocked to the annual Cash & Carry Stokvel day hosted at Numbi Hotel and Garden suites on Tuesday, October 8. Each individual received a sample of groceries on arrival from Cash & Carry suppliers. A talk was given by the suppliers and a price list was handed out to the members. Some of the suppliers like Imana had their own taste station for the members.
Cash & Carry Hazyview manager Warren Goosen, manager Cash & Carry, ensured that the members made decisions collectively about what they buy and where they make their purchases. Cash and Carry offers access affordable goods and aim to help members get the best possible deals. Stokvels work as savings schemes, offering members collective savings and buying services.
After all the suppliers and members had a good look at all products on their list they were given a special lunch which was enjoyed at the pool area at Numbi hotel and Garden suite.
