The very popular choral event, Songs of Praise, will take place on Sunday September 7 at the Hervormde Kerk in Belladonna Street. A local choir augmented by the student choir of the University of Johannesburg will entertain with a beautiful selection of hymns and songs, both modern and traditional. On the podium will be the charismatic conductor and musician, Richard Cock. A brass ensemble will lend colour and vivacity to the performance. The entrance fee is R75 and includes the essential printed programme. Pensioners and children under 12 pay only R55. Tickets are available at Mopani Pharmacy in White River, Crossing and I’langa Mall. Tickets can also be bought or reserved at the church office in Belladonna Street. The event will start at 15:00.
