The introduction of the new Audi S1 represents a definitive milestone in the Audi A1’s history. For the first time, quattro® all-wheel drive is offered in the A1, which also represents the first time an all-wheel drive system is offered in the premium A0 segment.

Like all Audi S models, the Audi S1 also comes with quattro® permanent all-wheeldrive onboard. Its specifically tuned control software boasts a decidedly dynamic setup. The electronic differential Lock with the fine-tuned wheel-selective torque control is a function of the Electronic stabilization Control (ESC). The suspension on the two compact sport models has been extensively revamped and it comes with a newly develop electromechanical power steering.
