Forest fun awaits Land Rover Group
The Lowveld Land Rovers Group is ready to roll again. This time it will be the spectacular though somewhat hair-raising, west face passes of the Kaap Valley going down the steep edge below Kaapsehoop.

The next Sunday excursion is on March 22 leaving from the BP garage at Sonpark at 08:00.
Much of these routes lead through pristine indigenous forests past a host of crystal- clear waterfalls trickling down the sheer rock face above. This is not a road known by many though it is the third time that the Land Rover Group are fortunate enough to be allowed here. This scenic route is suitable for all models of Land Rovers.
From the valley floor a second route will be followed to the top of the escarpment where a brief visit to the infamous Adams Calendar, rock formations believed by some to be the oldest manmade structures on earth, will be allowed. The trip will end off with a braai and some convivial Land Rover banter either at the shady pear orchard or spectacular edge near Kaapsehoop.
All Land Rover owners are welcome to join the group. Bring along the family as well as some padkos and all comforts necessary for a braai or picnic.
