Freedom Fighters win the Dibaks tourney

Freedom Fighters FC once again made the community of Praktiseer proud when they won the Dibaks Top 8 tournament this past weekend. The tourney is hosted annually and is organised by sports fanatic, Lucky Dibakwane. It involved eight clubs from all over Tubatse.
Fighters defeated Rhee United 1-0 in the final to win the whopping R4 000 prize money and a trophy. The winning goal was scored by Stanford Moraba through a penalty in the second half.
Owners of the team, Reubern Phasoane and Bernard Mafane applauded them for the good work.
“We are proud of these young boys and we will pave them to professional football,” they said.
The team also pleaded with the local municipality to maintain the soccer field as there is overgrown grass.
