Women are tired of being tired
Radio presenter and comedian, Ian Wessels was the guest speaker during the annual women year-end event at NG Suid Kerk on Thursday.
LYDENBURG – Radio presenter and comedian, Ian Wessels was the guest speaker during the annual women year-end event at NG Suid Kerk on Thursday.
Apart from sharing a delicious meal together, the women indulged in an evening filled with laughter. The theme of the event was “Tired”, and was based on the fact that most females are always tired and have to deal with so many life challenges on a daily basis.
Once every month the church hosts an event for women and they present two main gatherings every year, the first was held in May and the second one in October.
According to Elmine Malan, the organiser, women are tired of being tired.
“The year was filled with so many emotionally draining challenges so we thought we would invite a motivational speaker to uplift our spirit,” she said.
