These heavyweight rockers melded an eclectic array of old-school music to create beautiful sounds. The Pretoria-based outfit is on a tour to promote their latest extended play, which was released yesterday.

In addition to the six-track offering, the band has included a 15-minute documentary that invites fans and other music lovers to band members’ lives. Rock ‘n’ roll lovers from as far as White River came to watch the band play live. Among the spectators were Gabriel and Barbra Roos, who celebrated their six-year wedding anniversary on the night.

“We love the band, we thought there’s no better way to celebrate our wedding anniversary than spending a night watching the band play,” said Gabriel. According to Natasja Zafiris of Stoep, every season has its own music genre and they decided to bring the band to perform as Christmas approaches.

“It’s an early Christmas present for music lovers. We are also happy that, despite the fact that it’s the first time the band performs here, people came in numbers,” she said.
