Robbers loot money and food
"They tied up the security guard, left him outside and entered the store. Once they were inside they tried to bomb a small ATM, but failed, and instead took groceries and money from the tills," Magoa said.

LYDENBURG – Checkout Supermarket was robbed by three armed men on the night of March 26.
According to local police spokesman, Sgt Elizabeth Selwaletau Magoa, it occurred around 21:00 after the store had closed for business. The robbers managed to flee with an undisclosed amount of money and groceries.
“They tied up the security guard, left him outside and entered the store. Once they were inside they tried to bomb a small ATM, but failed, and instead took groceries and money from the tills,” Magoa said.
No one was injured during the robbery and the three suspects are still at large. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the local police.
