BURGERSFORT – Two men in a Volkswagen filled up their vehicle with petrol worth R700 at the Magaba filling station and drove off without paying.

The incident happened at around 21:07 on Saturday. Surveillance cameras show a white vehicle with two black racing stripes at the back pulling up to a pump. After the petrol attendant had filled up the tank, the driver apparently asked for some oil, but as the petrol attendant turned his back, the vehicle drove off. The vehicle had no number plates.

“This is only the second time that something like this has happened to us. The previous time we were able to catch the culprit and he had to pay the money back,” said owner of Magaba,

Mr Carl Lourens.

He also asks anybody who has information about the vehicle or driver, to contact him on 082-2578-082.
