Excelsus prize giving

STEELPOORT – It was not only academic and sport achievers who were awarded at Excelsus Academy and Good Shephard Pre-school’s award ceremonies on the October 28 and November 5.

Special awards like the helping hand for the pupil who was the most helpful throughout the year; best improvement for the pupil who had shown the most progress througout the year; uniform award for the child who always wore his/her uniform according to school policy and a bursary fund award for the child who is in need of financial aid were handed out at both schools.

The overall academic achiever at Excelsus Academy was Cornelia Masha. Moretsele Bontle received the helping hands award and Mankge Liza and Honest Montle respectively received the best improvement award and uniform award.The winner of the bursary fund was Majanyelwa Tshepo.

At Good Shephard’s ceremony, Reabetswe Koma received the best academic award. Retang Mashabela and Kedimtse Thobejane reveived the helping hand award. The best improvement award was handed to Respect Napo. The winners of the uniform award were Wisemen Shawane and Creselda Sekgala. Lesedi Mashabela won the bursary fund award.The best improvement award went to The winner of the bursary fund award was Majanyelwa Tshepo. The helping hands award was awarded to Moretsele Bontle.

The staff of the schools congratulate every pupil on their achievements and want to encourage those who did not receive an award to work harder next year to receive an award. Both schools are owned by Ms Anna Holcher,
