Fashionistas spoiled to timeless fashion
Fashion lovers were treated to an extravaganza at i'Langa Mall last Thursday.
MBOMBELA – Matric farewell dresses, African wear, a teen collection, maternity wear, evening dresses and bridal wear by Ladz Timeless Couture were showcased by 18 local models.

The 230 invited guests were treated to what Jacques Lombard, a director of Ladz Timeless Couture, hopes will be groundbreaking for the fashion industry in Mpumalanga.
One of the expanding mall’s empty spaces was converted into an industrial backdrop for the fashion experience.
A U-shaped ramp was used, enabling all the guests to get a close-up look of the 50 designer garments.

The models’ hair and makeup were impeccable.
“The showstopper, that can only be described as a fantasy dress, took three weeks to complete with two people working on it all hours of the day,” Lombard said.

It was an incredible moment when the dress appeared on the runway while Vangelis’ “Conquest of Paradise” played.
The garments were finished off with jewellery from Fifth Avenue. The music was chosen very carefully by the directors to complement each of the 50 dresses.

“Ladz Timeless Couture has definitely proved a point, made its mark and is already busy with the first new orders. We have planned massive things for our city, to put Mpumalanga on the map as a fashion and fashion-show trendsetter,” Lombard concluded.
