Woman found guilty of 27 counts sentenced

Louisa Lubbe (53) appeared in the Nelspruit Regional Court on Friday. She was due to be sentenced for theft.

According to Hawks spokesman, Capt Dineo Sekgotodi, Lubbe was employed as a bookkeeper by FFA Mechanical Services in Mbombela.

In February 2016, she transferred R144 233 from her employer into her personal bank account.

On Friday the court could not proceed with sentencing as Lubbe’s defence attorney was not present. She was remanded in custody.
The matter is postponed to this Friday June 21, for sentencing.
