A day full of colour at St Peter’s

The learners doused one another with a colourful powder before proceeding to the kaskar area for more fun.

Learners experienced one of the highlights of the school year at St Peter’s School’s annual colour run and kaskar day on Thursday.

The day was hosted by the grade six learners, as part of their fundraising event for the second term.

All the grades in the school participated on the day.

“Each grade has their own event that they host every year to raise funds,” explained Auri van Wyk. All the funds are used by the school. In this case, it will be used for the grade six’s stationery and books.

She said the event had visibly grown in comparison with last year’s. After working up their appetites with all the fun, the learners and teachers enjoyed boerewors rolls together.
