KaBokweni Magistrate Court temporarily closed due to a Covid-19 case
One of the employees had symptoms of the Covid-19 Coronavirus last Friday and tested positive over the weekend.
Gates were locked at KaBokweni Nsikazi Magistrate’s Court on Monday due to a Covid-19 case.
Court case attendees were turned away.
Those who also came to the facility to register their grants from the Sassa offices situated in the court facility were also turned away.

Lowvelder Express learned that one of the employees had symptoms of the Covid-19 Coronavirus last Friday and tested positive over the weekend.
Chrispin Phiri, spokesperson for the Ministry of Justice and Correctional Services, said, “Yes, the department confirms that the Magistrate’s Court reported a positive case of Covid-19 today. All postponements and new cases were dealt with in Court C,” he said.

Phiri said the decontamination of the building is scheduled to take place later today or tomorrow morning.
“The court will resume its operations on Wednesday. The department wishes the affected personnel a speedy recovery,” he concluded.
