Gospel songbird is back and ready to give it her all
Speaking to Lowvelder Express, this multi-award winning musician said the sabbatical gave her enough time to work and perfect her craft
Gospel songstress, Nozipho Ndzukula is back with a bang after a five-year break from the
music scene.
“After my divorce, I decided to take some time out and focus on myself and healing. I had previously released two albums using my matrimonial surname and I thought it didn’t make sense at all for me to continue releasing new material under that same name,” she explained.

“The break was actually a blessing in disguise for me because it has turned me into a strong and mature preacher and singer,” Ndzukula continued.
She said she is now ready to offer her fans inspirational music.
“I am working on my next project. I am hoping to get an opportunity to work with other greats such as Ismael and Somizi,” said Ndzukula.
She recorded and released her debut gospel album in 2006, but her big break was in 2007 after making an appearance in the Gospel Time show, hosted by gospel queen, Rebecca Malope on SABC 2.
“That platform opened doors for me and my career and I have never looked back,” she continued.
This singer boasts six albums and many awards.
In 2013 she was voted Best Female Artist of the Year at the South African Community Radio Stations Awards and won an Mpumalanga Gospel Award, Mzansi Gospel Award and BBR Heroes Award.
“I have performed in Mozambique, Swaziland and Zimbabwe and the experience gained there has helped me reshape my music career,” Ndzukula concluded.
