McGee Ford employees approached spring day a little differently this year. While many were planting trees to celebrate, they engaged in a team building fun day. It took place at Lydenburg Bowls Club on Saturday September 12.

Staff members not only used this opportunity to welcome spring, but also to welcome new team members who recently joined McGee’s Motors. Management also felt that they should do something to motivate themselves outside normal work activities and unite the team.

Some were a bit reluctant and hesitant about the activity as it was new to them, but once they started to participate they soon committed to the fun. It was a day of laughter and everyone agreed that they would do it again. Even those who did not participate said they are game for the next event. The staff were divided into two groups. Annetjie Moller, Gert and Arnand Human came first, while Bernard McGee, Nico and Telin Mulder came second. Other employees opted to rather get to know one another while braaiing. The employees thanked Bernard and Clifford McGee for sponsoring the team building day.
