The young author from Tubatse has assured locals that more books under his name will soon hit the shelves.
BURGERSFORT – It’s been almost a year since Lehlogonolo John Magabane (23) published his first book titled, “The Learning Curve”.
Despite being in circulation for almost 12 months, this book is still the talk of the town.
The young author from Tubatse has assured locals that more books under his name will soon hit the shelves.
He said the book was released in November 2019.
“My book is mainly about giving people courage, hopes and resilience and also highlighting different obstacles that one encounters before reaching one’s goals. It aims to inspire young people to read, to follow their dreams and get the knowledge necessary to advance in life,” he told Steelburger/Lydenburg News.
The writer, who is also an aspiring entrepreneur, said he is a God-fearing person, vibrant and creative.
“I describe myself as a very ambitious person and I believe with hard work and commitment, you can achieve anything.”
The author said he looks up to fellow writers like DJ Sbu, Vusi Thembekwayo, Dan Brown and Oscar Mokhudu. “These guys achieved success by working hard,” added Magabane
.
“I always write in my spare time. I am intending to release another memoir towards the end of 2021.”
