We wouldn’t have been here without our customers, who have become like family,” said manager and co-owner, André du Plooy.

The judging was based on store standards, health and hygiene, purchase growth, sales growth and loyalty. SUPERSPAR Longtom also won store of the year in 2018 and the most improved award in 2019 for the all-new, fresh look, renovations and revamping. The current owners took over in 2010 and are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year.

Their store will now compete on the national stage for the coveted National SUPERSPAR Store of the Year award – good luck to the team.
