Night market on lavender farm this Saturday
LYDENBURG - Join the Luies family for a night market on their farm on Saturday. They hosted a Lavender Festival at the end of October with great success. This prompted them to extended their planned event to a Christmas market.
It will start at 16:00 on Saturday December 12 at Lavanta Floriciente Lavender Farm. Visitors are welcome to stay till 22:00.
There will be 1 000 Christmas lights with live music, games for the children, market stalls and food.
This night market is ideal for festive shopping as it is not in the heat of the day and visitors can leisurely walk, shop and eat at the same time. It is 14 kilometres out on the Frischgewaagd, Boomplaas Road. To book tickets, contact 082-825-7968 or buy them at the gate. R30 per person.
