AFM Church looks to the future for Youth Month celebrations

AFM Mashishing commemorated Youth Month on Sunday June 13.

To encourage the youth that attended the event and show them how it will look when they graduate, the adults dressed up in graduation regalia. This event was hosted by Nkgaphane Sedidi and her husband, the presiding Pr Takatso Sedidi. The guest speaker was Rev Dr Khathutshelo Khomola, AFM Sehlakwana. He spoke about the scripture in the Book of Proverbs 29:2: “When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”

This was to encourage young Christian people to acquire education and knowledge and apply it as they venture into industries. “Young people must take advantage of the free higher education and study to better themselves and their communities and secure the future of the generations that come after them,” said Sedidi.
