Berg Street will soon be in a better state thanks to upgrades.

Northam Booysendal Platinum Mine has stepped in to assist with the rehabilitation of Berg Street, towards the Sterkspruit Plotte.
The mine is also rehabilitating it for its new housing units on the road. Berg Street has been a headache for years as it is notorious for its bad potholes. The project is a joint venture between Northam Booysendal Platinum Mine, Thaba Chweu Local Municipality, SADECon Africa Consulting Engineers, and OBEE and Family Contractors.
