PSL teams gear up for the new season

Sekhukhune United FC are continuing to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2021/22 football season. Babina Noko’s latest signings include Nicholas Lukhubeni (25) from Mamelodi Sundowns, Ryan de Jongh (31) from Bloemfontein Celtic and midfielder Vusumuzi “Skheshe” Mncube (27) from the GladAfrica Championship side, JDR Stars.

Meanwhile, Baroka FC is also hard at work preparing for the new season. Bakgaga have unveiled their new kit for the 2021/22 season as well as signings for the first team.
This team finished 10th in the premiership last season, their best finish since their promotion in 2016, and recently announced eight new players.
Baroka’s new recruits are Athenkosi Dlala from the University of Pretoria, Richards Bay midfielder Bayzel Goldston, Sydney Malivha from Marumo Gallants’ development side, Train Mokhabi from JDR Stars in the GladAfrica championship, Decide Chauke from TS Sporting and Seleka Sithole from Cape Umoya. The team also promoted Bennet Bobete and Tshegofatso Bosega from their development.
