Nadia qualifies for Miss Teen Universe SA finals
With bated breath family and friends waited to see if all the voting for Nadia Milazi as a Miss Teen Universe SA finalist would pay off. Well, it did. Nadia received 8 825 votes and ended up in the top of group 2 on Saturday July 31.
She has qualified for the finals in March 2022 in Durban. This teenager had gone on a marathon of community outreaches over the past few weeks to secure votes. One of the places she visited was the Lydenburg Landfill Site. This self-assured teenager is a grade 10 pupil at Mashishing High School. She visited the landfill site to hand out lunches with her parents, Johannes and Gladys Milazi, and John Nyundu of the Nsizwa Nyundu Foundation. One of her passions is singing. She is a member of the Imvano Apostolic Church choir and she loves playing netball in her free time. “I want people to see that you can make your dreams come true. And I want that to translate into the passion I have for community work. You should grab opportunities like this with both hands, regardless of whether you are scared or not,” said Nadia.
