Young model to host fun run
She pleaded for locals to support her by attending the fun run.
BURGERSFORT – A local teen, Trinity Mkhabela (13), who is a finalist in the Miss Teen Universe South Africa (MTUSA) is hosting a fundraising event.
The energetic Mkhabela is organising a 10 kilometre fun run to be hosted on September 4 in Praktiseer.
The session will commence at the Dr CN Phatudi TVET College at 07:00. The participants will then make a turn at the Tubatse Bridge in Praktiseer (Segorong).
The girl from Praktiseer Ext 3 confirmed that medals and flowers will be awarded to the participants on the day.
She pleaded for locals and people in Tubatse to support her in honouring the event.
“I am trying to raise funds, and to encourage locals to vote for me in the MTUSA’s public choice award.”
Trinity is part of BP Modelling Academy in Burgersfort. The academy has produced best models in Tubatse. The grade 8 pupil at St Thomas College said apart from modelling she enjoys watching TV, singing and reading magazines. Registration for the fun run is R50 for adults and R30 for kids.
