Join wrestling club
Join the first meeting of the Lydenburg Wrestling Club for 2022.
Boys and girls five years and older who are interested in wrestling are invited to attend the first meeting of the Lydenburg Wrestling Club this year. It will take place on Saturday January 22 at 15:00 at De Souza House (boy’s hostel of Lydenburg High School).
Stephen Lowe, the chairperson and coach, said this will be a question-and-answer session. The current members will share information on the benefits of wrestling, the practice times and dates, costs to join and other requirements.
A new board will also be selected.
The club has enjoyed some success in the past, but was not able to compete regularly the past two years due to Covid-19 restrictions.
