Thirteen injured in accident on Roossenekal Road

On March 16, 12 passengers in a Toyota Quantum minibus and the driver of an Audi Quattro A1 sustained minor injuries after being in an accident on the Roossenekal Road (R577), just outside Lydenburg.

According to emergency services on the scene, the Toyota Quantum driver had overtaken the Audi Quattro. After doing so, it switched back to its lane and hit the Audi on its right-hand fender.
Both vehicles were travelling in Roossenekal’s direction. The injured were treated on the scene.
