Friendships were strengthened and new ones were made during the Fred Kinnear Golf Day at Mbombela Golf Club on September 8.

The field of golfers, some excellent and others not so much, thoroughly enjoyed the day.

The annual event was a huge success and the day’s good and bad shots were discussed at the 19th hole after the action had ceased.

Bennie van Niekerk, Dylan Peterson, Hoffman Maritz and Marius Nel were the winners of the four-ball alliance (two shots to count) scramble drive, with 106 points.
