Rinato Private Clinic in Burgersfort celebrates its fifth anniversary on Friday, November 29.
The clinic’s management team hosted a gala dinner at Thaba Moshate Casino on October 25, at which they thanked the local communities and health experts for their support. The event was a tremendous success, bringing together over 120 guests, including staff, healthcare professionals and community leaders.

It highlighted five years of healthcare excellence and service to the Sekhukhune District communities and those in Mpumalanga and neighbouring provinces.
During the event, Dr Lorna Maphuthuma, Rinato’s director, delivered a heartfelt keynote address reflecting on the clinic’s growth, achievements and vision for the future. Some patients, sponsors and clients who have partnered with Rinato shared their testimonies. The guests were treated to a musical performance by Mahlatze Vokal and Maphuthuma’s son, Phenyo, adding a unique touch to the celebration. Social media influencer Matalane Mokgatla and well-known pastor and motivational speaker Sam Gololo were the MCs for the occasion.

Another celebratory event is scheduled to take place at the clinic’s headquarters at Shop 11, Morone Complex, 72 Kastania Street, on November 29.

Talking about future plans, Maphuthuma said she is currently working with schools in Burgersfort to launch a remedial centre early next year. Rinato first opened its doors on November 29, 2019. During Covid-19, the clinic’s doctors treated and supported an avalanche of patients. It has more than 15 medical specialists. The centre boasts a spacious area with child- and disability-friendly areas. There is ample parking space outside the premises. Inside, Rinato has modern examination rooms, dental suites, a dialysis centre, specialty clinics, an on-site laboratory and more.
