Fire in the hole!

The road from Geelhout Avenue to the Brinkspruit River Bridge is being widened, which comprises a construction distance of just over five kilometres. A total of 350 holes had to be drilled in order to set the charges. Once 150 kilograms of explosives were placed in these holes, 320 cubic metres of granite were dislodged.
