The Fiat 500X, a new compact crossover in the 500 family, marks the evolution of the brand and technology, through development in its DNA.

Heir to the 1957 Fiat 500, the new Fiat crossover extends the 500 family further, with the brand now comprising the 500, 500C, 500L, and 500L Trekking models, all very different in vocation and character, but firmly rooted in the iconic Fiat 500.

Indeed, the apple does not fall far from the tree, and the new Fiat crossover is set to cement the brand’s endurance well into the future.

Having already established the brand in over 100 countries, the Fiat 500X crossover, assembled in the updates SATA plant in Melfi, the 500X will be available in three different versions.

There is the 500X Pop Star, the 500X Cross, and the 500X Cross Plus, offering an array of pleasures, like being equipped with two efficient petrol engines – the 1.4 liter MultiAir or 1.6 liter E-Torq – as well as three types of transmission namely 5-speed manual transmission, 6-speed manual transmission or the twin-clutch 6-speed automatic.

And, with front wheel drive, and unique Traction Plus configurations, the Fiat 500X crossover, is definitely going to grab the attention of young, dynamic metropolitan customers who know what they want, and how to get it.

“On the other hand, a decidedly more off-road look and equipment, make the Fiat 500X Cross and Cross Plus, the ideal solution for lovers of leisure and outdoor activities, who don’t want to compromise on the unique style of the Fiat 500,” Mr Johan Pretorius, group sales manager, told launch attendees.

Designed by the Centro Stile Fiat, the new 500X represents a new dimension of the unmistakable 500, where its iconic style and modern concept of the crossover collide.

With its big personality and distinctive Italian design, the new Fiat 500X models is characterized by its compact dimensions, ample interior space and the choice of premium materials and fabrics, as well as the most sophisticated technology in the service of safety and comfort.

The Fiat 500X range comes in ten different exterior colours that emphasize the sensual form of the vehicle, further enhanced by the different designs for the 17 and 18 inch alloy wheels.

Last but certainly not least, the high quality finishes and practical storage compartments, coupled with an unmistakably Italian-made passenger compartment with no fewer than seven interior configurations, multiple seat adjustments and spacious luggage compartment, there’s only one more thing left to say, but Hai conquistato il mio cuore – Fiat you have won my heart!
