Jackson under cross examination in coffin case

Theo Jackson, accused number two in the coffin case, testified about how they took Mlotshwa to a silage ditch to scare him with a coffin.

He said that Mlotshwa told them to do whatever they want with him as long as they did not take him to the police.

Like Oosthuyzen, Jackson testified that Mlotshwa helped them offload the coffin from his vehicle.

He said that he deleted the video from his phone days after the incident on the request of his wife.

According to Jackson, the coffin was burned on instruction of his employer, Hannes de Beer, early in October 2016.

Adv Robert Molokoane will resume with cross examination when court resumes.

Before the break he asked Jackson if he saw anything wrong with the video. Jackson replied “No”.
