Horrific accident: Ten casualties airlifted to Mpumalanga hospitals

A fatal accident that occurred on the N11 between Volksrust and Newcastle, resulted in over 10 casualties being rushed to Middelburg and Witbank hospitals.

The accident took place after 15:00 on Sunday afternoon, in which five people were killed.
Over 10 casualties were airlifted to Mpumalanga hospitals.

A medical helicopter touched down in Middelburg where two casualties were taken to Life Midmed Hospital, two more to the Middelburg Provincial Hospital and six others to Witbank.
The patients are all in a critical condition.
