Mr Mabena received a scam call from someone pretending to be a member of SAPS, claiming that his vehicle had been found.

Senior Firefighter Daki Mabena’s bakkie has not been recovered after last night’s hijacking, with Mr Mabena having been misled by a scam call.

The person calling  said they were a member of SAPS and then demanded R3 500 for towing, confused by this request, Mr Mabena went to the Mhluzi Police Station to find answers.
