Colleagues and MEC remember traffic officer

The MEC and locals remember late Principal Provincial Inspector, who was loved by his colleagues.

The office of the MEC for Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Jackie Macie, sent a photograph of the late Principal Provincial Inspector Joseph Ntsei, who was killed while on duty at the Middelburg Toll Plaza on the N4.

Ntsei, attached to Overload Control in Middelburg, was described as a respected and dedicated officer.

Moeti Mmusi, Head of Communications at the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, recalled: “Whenever I passed the weighbridge, I always saw PPI Ntsei’s friendly face next to the road. He was professional and kind, and he will be missed.”
