Laerskool Julian Muller
Me.
We had two rugby teams that are Limpopo Champions and various learners who represented our school on provincial levels in different sports codes.
Thank you to each parent for your involvement in your child’s academic, sport and cultural activities.
The year also had its challenges. It is with great sadness that we had to say goodbye to Mr James Steele, but we wish him and his family only the best for their new life in the Northern Cape.
May everyone be reminded anew this Christmas season that, thanks to the Child in the manger, each new day is a gift that we can share with loved ones. May you experience the peace and joy of God in your hearts.

Laerskool Marble Hall
Mnr.
Malie groete.

Groblersdal Academy
Mr Johan Roos (Principal of Groblersdal Academy):
By the grace of our Saviour, we can say we made it through another year. Yes, the community had many heartaches, but we were also blessed with many moments that brought us joy, comfort, pride and laughter.
May the coming year bring you growth, learning, and adventure that shapes your soul. Hopefully, 2025 will be the year where you have the breakthrough in that specific area you have been hoping for.
Manifesting blessed, meaningful moments over the festive season that will be cherished over the years to come.
Kind wishes from Groblersdal Academy.

Hoërskool Ben Viljoen
Mnr. John Smith (skoolhoof van Hoërskool Ben Viljoen):
2024, wat ’n jaar…
Hier waar ek terugleun agter my lessenaar en vir die soveelste keer oor hierdie jaar reflekteer, wel die woorde van Laurika Rauch se bekende ‘Sonneblom uit Bethlehem’ in my gedagtes op…
‘Nog ’n Somerson Kersfees
Want die Koningskind verjaar
Die Suiderkruis my kompas
Christmas is a time of year for remembrance. We take stock of where we came from, and have a moment to think about where we are going, as we pursue the future.

Dynamique Primary School
Ms Doreen Nyathi (Principal of Dynamique Primary School):
Jonathan Lockwood Huie rightly put it when he said, “Celebrate endings, for they precede new beginnings.”
As we round up 2024 and eagerly anticipate 2025, we would like to acknowledge and be thankful for both the good and the painful, the peaks and the valleys, the simple and the challenging moments of our year.
The most devastating and heart-shattering moment of our year as a school was the passing on of our legendary and compassionate visionary and director, Dr Rots Alberts, in July. May his dear soul continue to rest in eternal peace.
Thereafter, at the end of the same month, our then principal, Mr Hennie Alberts, went on retirement. We continue to wish him well in his new endeavours.
Once again this year, our school choir did us proud and added some silverware to our display cabinet. As a testament to this, they travelled as far as George, in the Cape. All thanks to the tutelage of our dynamic conductor, Mr Munya Mudzingwa and his team. In that regard, we would like to pay special tribute to the parents, companies and organisations that made the trip to George possible. Kooperasie and ICam Video Telematics gave donations towards the trip.
Recently, our Choir was given lifetime exposure and experience when they took part in the annual Christmas Carol Service at NG Gemeente Kerk. What a privilege! Thanks to the congregation and its pastors and leadership. To our parents who gave our learners permission, and moral and financial support to take part, you are very dear to us.
We also managed to complete our memorial wall for the precious seven learners who lost their lives in the March 2023 horrific road accident. We proceeded to unveil a tombstone in their honour on Friday the 29th of November.
We are indeed blessed to be part of such a wonderful, compassionate and selfless community in Sekhukhune that helped to make the event and ceremony a whooping success! Special thanks to Jabulane Tombstones who donated a beautiful tombstone for the memorial wall. A huge thank you to Denise Barnard, a painter of note based in Groblersdal, for the beautiful artwork on the memorial wall. Pebbles Africa, your hearts are as smooth and beautiful as the pebbles that you donated for the decoration of the outside area of the wall.
Extreme Printers, your service is indeed extreme! Thank you for the learners’ portraits. A big thank you to Johan Smuts for mounting the portraits. Ronel from Stonel White Doves, thank you for the lovely seven white doves that concluded the ceremony peacefully.
To Pastors Benjamin and Thandi Mohlamonyane, you are a rare breed of pastors! Thank you for your humility, compassion and spiritual cover. To our directors, thank you for perpetuating our departed good doctor’s legacy of selflessness and compassion. You make Dynamique dynamic!
Many thanks to Avbob, NTT Toyota and Amper Alles for the gazebos during our memorial wall and tombstone unveiling.
We would also like to thank everyone who came to the rescue of the family of one of our Grade 7 learners whose home was gutted by fire, and they lost all their belongings. May I also urge our community to continue pouring in aid, both in cash and kind. They still need household goods like beds, chairs, tables and other relevant items.
To our stakeholders, our precious learners and our lovely parents, we honour you for your invaluable support, without which we would not have come this far. Last but certainly not least, to our own staff, both teaching and non-teaching, you are a cut above the rest! You are too many to mention but you all contributed one way or another towards our various successes of the year. Let us keep the oneness of purpose and shun negativity, complaining and comparison. Let us pursue harmony and watch a bright future unfold.
In conclusion, may I take this opportunity to wish everyone in our Sekhukhune community and beyond, a merry, safe and memorable festive season. Family is everything, invest in quality moments with each other and extend a hand to the less privileged as well.

CVO Marmer
Mnr.
