Wanted suspect cornered in Waalkraal

SAPS Dennilton and Task Team members from Mpumalanga nabbed a man wanted for possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition, and suspected stolen property.

The 36-year-old suspect was arrested at his hideout in Waalkraal in Dennilton on Monday.

Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, Limpopo Provincial Police spokesperson, stated that the teams tracked the man after receiving information about his whereabouts and arrested him at approximately midday.

The police discovered various items, including ammunition, two replica firearms, different vehicle number plates, an undisclosed amount of cash, and a suspected stolen vehicle.

The suspect appeared in the Dennilton Magistrate’s Court yesterday (Wednesday) facing charges of possession of suspected stolen property, and the possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
