Man from Bolobedu goes missing
An urgent appeal for public assistance has been made by the police in Roossenekal to locate a missing person, who hails from Bolobedu.
Lucky Tau Mahlokoana (32) was last seen on June 19, when he reportedly got off duty from work at the Bonamazi Game Lodge at approximately 12:00.
According to Sergeant Maphure Manamela, police spokesperson, Lucky informed his colleagues that he was travelling home to Bolobedu and was expected to return to work on June 25.
“Concern arose when he failed to report for duty as scheduled. His co-worker and close friend, upon returning from his own rest period, enquired about Lucky’s whereabouts. It was subsequently discovered that he never arrived at his home in Bolobedu and has not been seen or heard from since he left work,” said Sergeant Manamela.
A missing person case has been opened at the Roossenekal Police Station, and the police are actively investigating and following all leads.
The police urgently appeal to anyone who may have information regarding Lucky’s whereabouts. Captain Mpusheng Makuwa may be contacted on 082 565 7136, or community members can call Crime Stop on 086 001 0111 or visit their nearest police station.
