Makhuduthamaga records notable achievements

The Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality managed to record notable achievements by implementing and setting targeted projects for the previous quarter and the 2024/2025 financial year.

Makhuduthamaga Local Municipality has managed to implement 96 of the 102 planned projects for the previous quarter.

Additionally, the institution achieved 120 of the 125 projects targeted for the 2024/2025 financial year.

This was revealed in the fourth quarter EXCO Lekgotla, which convened on July 22 in Jane Furse.

Council Chief Whip Mosedi Thamaga lauded the outstanding performance and said it was a great move in the right direction for the municipality.

Mayor Merah Mahlase stated that the municipality will continue to improve communities’ welfare through the distribution of public resources and development projects.

“The municipality is determined to engage all stakeholders on service delivery challenges,” Mahlase highlighted.
