A driver of a hatchback lost their life in an accident involving two vehicles on the Leeuwfontein road (R574) this morning.

An accident which occurred between Leeuwfotein and Motete T-junction, involving two vehicles, claimed the life of a driver of the hatchback and left the bakkie driver seriously injured.

According to 24 Seven Logistics’ Derick Maidment, the accident occurred 5km from the Motetema T-junction at 06:50 on Wednesday.

The collision involved a Renault Cleo hatchback, which was travelling in the direction of the Motetema T-junction, and a Ford Ranger bakkie which was headed towards the Leeuwfontein area.
