A co-ordinated police operation cracking down on drug trafficking in parts of Sekhukhune District resulted in the arrest of three suspects in separate incidents last Thursday.
Members of the Limpopo Provincial Organised Crime Unit, together with Visible Policing and other operational teams, conducted raids in Mogaladi and Riba Cross villages and Groblersdal.
In Mogaladi, a 32-year-old man was arrested after police found him in possession of heroin and rock cocaine with an estimated street value of R50 000.
A second suspect, aged 26, was apprehended along Hereford Street in Groblersdal. The man, believed to be a foreign national, was found with heroin and crystal meth valued at nearly R60 000.
In a separate incident in Riba Cross, a 57-year-old woman was arrested for possession of dagga. The drugs were found packaged in sachets and a plastic bag, along with a small amount of cash suspected to be proceeds from drug sales.
The combined estimated value of the confiscated drugs is approximately R110 000.

Limpopo police spokesperson Colonel Malesela Ledwaba confirmed that all three suspects have been charged with dealing and possessing drugs.
Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe commended the teams for their efforts, reiterating that the SAPS remains committed to tackling drug-related crime.
Police have urged community members to continue reporting suspicious activities to assist in the fight against the illegal drug trade.
