We, KMC Geomatics
(Reg No. 2008/017997/21), the authorized agents of the registered owners of Erf 8431 and a Portion of
5th Street Mhluzi Extension 5 Township, hereby give notice that we have applied to the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality for the Permanent Closure of a portion of
5th Street in terms of Section 75-; and the amendment of the Steve Tshwete Land Use Scheme, 2019, for the rezoning of a Portion of 5th Street, situated adjacent to Erf 8431 Mhluzi Extension 5, from
“Public Open Space Zone” to “Residential Zone 1” in terms of Section 62(1) and Section 94(1)(a) of the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality SPLUM by-law, 2016, to be able to consolidate the subject portion with Erf 8431 of the
Mhluzi Extension 5 Township.
Particulars of the application will lie for inspection during normal office hours at the office of the authorised Town Planner of the Local Municipality, 14 SADC Street, Middelburg, 1055, for a period of
30 days from 10 April 2026.

Objections to or representations in respect of the application must be lodged with- or made to the above- mentioned address in accordance with Section 99 of the SPLUM by-law, 2016, before 11 May 2026.
