Help Rivek go to hockey national championships in Cape Town

Hoërskool Middelburg goalkeeper Rivek needs R17 000 in sponsorship to represent his team at the hockey tournament in Cape Town.

Middelburg is set to cheer on one of its young sporting talents, Rivek Dawlat Ram (14), who has been selected to represent his team at the prestigious PSI (Pro Series Indoor) National Hockey Tournament in Cape Town this December.

The Grade Eight pupil from Hoërskool Middelburg, who is a gifted goalkeeper, has consistently impressed with his skills on the field, earning him a spot at the national level once again. His dedication, passion and hard work have made his family and community incredibly proud.

To make this opportunity possible, Rivek’s family is seeking sponsorships or donations to help cover tournament fees, travel, and accommodation costs. The total cost of the trip is estimated at R17 000.

“Every contribution, no matter the amount, will assist in supporting his dream of representing Middelburg on a national stage,” said his mother, Varsha.

Rivek’s parents are reaching out to the community and local businesses for support.
