SupaDrifting at Red Star Raceway

This year's South African SupaDrift series will kick off at the Red Star Raceway near Delmas this Saturday.

The eight-round series will host drivers from all over South Africa and Mozambique, with more than 30 competitors expected this weekend. The Red Star circuit’s tight and twisty layout makes it specifically adaptable for Drifting, with top drivers expected to do sideways stuff at speeds of up to 140 km/h.
The circuit gates will be open from 8am, with practice sessions in the morning.
Racing proper will commence at noon.
Admission will cost R80 for adults and R50 for children between the ages of six and 12 years. For more information visit www.supadrift.co.za or follow the series on Facebook: SupaDrift Series and Twitter: @SupaDriftseries.
