VW gives Beetle and Up! a refreshed look

The Club special edition package has exclusive interior and exterior styling features, such as new alloy wheels, painted side mirror housings and new seat trims.

In the Beetle, the Club special edition package is only offered with the 1.2 TSI 77kW design derivative. The Club Beetle will be available in an exclusive Habanero Orange colour as well as three other colours – Deep Black, Pure White and Reflex Silver.

The Club Beetle exclusive features are:

– 17-inch Ravenna alloy wheels
– Side mirror housing painted in black or red
– Tartan cloth seat trim
– Dashboard painted in special finish colour – Twist Wave Dark
– Exterior decorative film above the sill, with ‘Club’ lettering in black or red
– Steering wheel embellisher with ‘Club’ lettering

The Club Beetle retails for R294 800 (CO2 emissions tax and VAT included).

Club Up! is based on the 1.0 55kW Move Up! specifications and is offered with these additional ‘Club’ special edition features:
– 15-inch Ravenna alloy wheels
– Leather steering wheel with decorative stitching
– Dashboard painted in unique colour
– Side mirror housing painted in Reflex Silver
– Tartan cloth seat trim
– Exterior decorative film above the sill, with Club stickers on the sides and below side mirror

Club Up! will be available in three exclusive colours – Pure White, Blueberry and Dark Silver. The retail price is R153 200 (CO2 emissions tax & VAT included).

Volkswagen has added sportiness to the Golf and Beetle models with the introduction of the optional R-Line package. Until now, the optional R-Line package was only available in the new Touareg, Scirocco, Tiguan and VW CC. For Golf, the R-Line package will only be available with the Comfortline and Highline derivatives.

The R-Line package for Golf includes the following interior and exterior features:
– 17-inch Salvador alloy wheels (Comfortline only)
– 18-inch Serron alloy wheels (Highline only)
– Front and rear bumpers in ‘R’ styling
– Rear spoiler
– Rear diffuser painted in black
– R-Line badge on the grille
– Front scuff plates with R-Line logo

In the Beetle, the R-Line package will only be offered with the Sport 1.4 TSI 110kW derivatives. The exterior and interior features include:

– 19-inch Tornado alloy wheels
– Front and rear bumpers in ‘R’ styling
– Rear spoiler
– Rear diffuser painted in black
– R-Line badge on the grille
– Sport suspension

The optional R-Line package in both models is available at R12 500.
