Three suspects are expected to appear in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court today (September 21) in connection with the murder of Jabulile Ntimba, the ninth victim in the Ekurhuleni murders. 

Brigadier Athlenda Mathe, the national police spokesperson, said the suspects, a man and two women, were arrested over the weekend by members of the Gauteng Murder and Robbery Unit. 
 
Ntimba was found in Dawn Park on September 17. 

Victims identified in ongoing probe 

The other victims have been identified as: 

• Busisiwe Mahlangu found in Kempton Park on July 15 

• Itumeleng Kekana found in Kempton Park on August 3 

• Nomfesane Mjobo found in Kempton Park on August 26  

• Gracious Nkomo found in Kempton Park on September 10  

• Elizabeth Moselakgomo found in Kempton Park on September 12 

• Name withheld because her family has not yet been informed; found in Olifantsfontein on September 14 

• Dineo Motapane found in KwaThema on September 15  

The victim found floating in a river in Clayville in Olifantsfontein on September 7 remains unidentified. 

Police prioritise murder investigations 

Acting National Commissioner Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane said each case is being prioritised. 

“We remain committed to ensuring that these investigations are pursued with the urgency and determination they require. Our investigators are following all available leads and are working tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice,” added Dimpane.
