The family of Pietermaritzburg physiotherapist, Shaista Naipal, who has been missing since Friday evening has appealed for help in searching for her, Maritzburg Sun reports.
Naipal, 28, last spoke to her family on Friday evening saying that she was going away to help a friend and would return in a few days.
“Her cellphone has been switched off and we have since retrieved her car that she had left at the Medi-Clinic parking lot where she worked. She was last seen at the hospital. She sounded frantic when she spoke to me last on Friday. She didn’t tell us who she was going to be with and we have checked with all her friends – most of whom are her colleagues – and they don’t know anything,” said her brother Nasteesh Naipal.
