Orange rosemary spritz cocktail recipe

The zesty citrus kick in this cocktail pairs perfectly with salty bites like olives, roasted nuts, or a simple cheese board.

This cocktail takes the classic spritz and gives it a seasonal twist. The base is a mix of orange liqueur and sparkling wine, topped with a splash of soda for fizz. There’s no shaking, no muddling, and no complicated ingredients. Simply pour, top, and garnish. This recipe makes one serving, but it’s easy to double or triple.

Ingredients

  • 60ml orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Aperol for a bitter edge)
  • 90ml prosecco or dry sparkling wine
  • 30ml soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • 1 slice dried or fresh orange

Method

  1. Fill a glass with ice cubes.
  2. Pour in the orange liqueur, then add prosecco.
  3. Top with soda water.
  4. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and an orange slice.
