The National Department of Agriculture has alerted jobseekers that all legitimate vacancies are advertised exclusively through official communication channels following a fraudulent social media advert, reports Parys Gazette.

In an official statement, the department confirmed it is not recruiting through the website, WhatsApp channel or number displayed on the advert.

Public warned against sharing personal details

The public is warned not to submit any personal information or make any payments in response to the notice.

All legitimate vacancies are advertised through the department’s official communication channels and recognised government recruitment platforms. Anyone who encounters the fake advert is advised to report it.
